addicted to popcorn

every afternoon around 230pm they make popcorn at work. i'm TRYING my hardest these days to cut down to half a bag, but today i only made it to 3/4 of a bag. it's so tasty! i've always had this popcorn addiction, since birth, well i didn't eat it for a few months after violently choking and coughing once to dislodge a popcorn hull from my throat. you see, im cutting down on my popcorn and general food intake so i can be back in the SBC. that's skinny bitch club! i need to be back in this club...it would just make me feel a heck of a lot better. :)

hair, hands, and feet?

wow, men REALLY like long hair. why is that? everytime i mention cutting my hair, most guys friends literally will flip out and try and talk me out of it. herro! rihanna is even hotter now that she cut her hair short!

i just think it's really interesting that men really do notice certain things when they first meet a woman. in general they look for hot or not, of course. which guy doesn't want a hottie girlfriend? once they deem you as semi-hot or hot, there are some features that most men will check out. maybe im wrong? let me know!

disappointed...

i'm so disappointed in the food i've had thus far in SF. so many more misses than hits. what to do? the only good eats have been vietnamese and mexican. i need to find a good place in the south bay for korean. or maybe the only place in the bay area to get good korean food is oakland, ohgane rules! i'm going to hit up sushi sam's in san mateo soon, because it's supposed to have some excellent nigiri. uni here i come!

DCA to SFO!

so im finally back in SF! i'm all moved into my new space, but my room still looks like a fortress of cardboard u-haul boxes. i would put up pics, but not sure i want to really let others see how much crap i really have.

so far it's been great. i ran into my friend jason on the street on friday on market street by the rite-aid and then saw my cousin driving down market street today too. it's kinda neat to just randomly run into family members and friends on the street.

girl of puccatastic proportions!

awww...spanks, arex! apparently someone thinks im a gorgeous girl of puccatastic proportions! i think this is the nicest compliment someone has ever paid to me. some of you know this already, but i'm a big fan of pucca. that's why the compliment is so special. :)

who is pucca?
Pucca (뿌까 is a media franchise from the South Korean company Vooz Co., Ltd.. The main character Pucca is the 11-year old niece of three Chinese noodle house owners. The Noodle House is located in Sooga Village, a small village in the mountains. Pucca is in love with the 12-year-old ninja, "Garu" (가루 ['garoo]). Pucca always seems to beat him in combat and unintentional competition, simply by sheer wit. The characters are quite popular in Europe and Asia, with TV animation in cartoon channels in Europe, Central and South America. These animations were compiled into a DVD, available in Germany. A UK children's book publisher (Hodder's) has also published a series of Pucca children's books. Pucca has also attained a small, but dedicated, cult following in the U.S. after its release on television through Disney and products featured in "Morning Glory" stationary stores across America, mainly in large malls. The UK also has pencil cases/tins, which have become quite popular, stationery items, and notebooks/diaries. In Israel, a Pucca-branded snack was launched on May, 2006.

holy crap!

holy crap, i just packed a 37" inch Sharp Aquos all by myself. it took a while since i couldn't get the base of the tv off, not because i didn't know how though. i just couldn't get my stupid drill bit to fit correctly, so i wasn't able to unscrew the base off. i finally got that sucker off, took seconds once the drill bit was in place. now the tv is sitting nice and snuggly in a cardboard box waiting to get shipped off to SF. :) whew...

update on DCA to SFO!

i got my transfer on friday! yay! so looks like i'll be heading to the city by the bay soon, october 17th soon! i plan to start working out of the SF office on october 20, hoping everything will work out. if not, bring it! i just want to get to SF and do my thing. i'll be staying at my friend's pad in japantown for now, until i can find my own place. thank goodness for friends!

btw, another friend is moving from DC to Mountain View, so at least i'll have ONE friend. no, i mean TWO friends counting the one i'm staying with...lol :) yippee, TWO friends...wow!
